Friday November 1st, 2013

 

Check-In  (7:00-8:00 PM)

There will be a check-in desk set up in the foyer of CYC’s (Carolina Yacht Club’s) Bastion Ballroom which is located in the new clubhouse located at 50 East Bay Street in Downtown Charleston. Just listen for the bag pipes and you will find the entry door. We will have 2-3 cadets set up there to process everyone through quickly. This is where you will receive your 1993 apparel and tail gate wrist bands.

Reunion Party (7:00-11:00 PM)

Palmer Owings, Mark Jordan, and Michael Cochran will be hosting our reunion party at the historic Carolina Yacht Club's Bastion Ballroom which is located in the new clubhouse at 50 East Bay Street.  The party will be held in the newly renovated ballroom located on the “South Property”.  Dress Code will be Business/Cocktail Casual.  The party will include fine foods, fine drinks, and fine music.  The dance floor will be set up so make sure you wear your boogie shoes.  This is going to be an awesome event worthy of our 20th reunion.    

Saturday, November 2nd, 2013

 

Class of 1993 Tailgate (12:00-5:00 PM)

There will be no more tailgating in a mud puddle on the back side of the stadium for the Class of 1993!  Our tailgate is going to be located on top of the stadium on the South Terrace.  What a perfect spot to view the game, while visiting with classmates, while enjoying a cold beer, and while eating lunch all at the same time.  Access to the terrace is through the stadium.  If you have a disability you may access the terrace through the Club Level using their elevators.  You will have to purchase a football ticket to gain access to the terrace and/or march on the field.  Lunch will be served between 12:00 & 3:00 PM.  Wine and beer will be served from 12:00 until 5:00 PM.  Kids are welcome.  Make sure you wear your wrist bands.    

Football Game Vs Samford (2 PM)

The Citadel will be taking on the Samford Bulldogs.  1993’s block of seats will be located directly below the South Terrace on the home side of the Stadium.  There is a discount for child tickets. The Citadel ticket office will provide a link so that we will be able to purchase tickets within our block of seats.  The 1993 football ticket link will be emailed to you and posted here in late June. 

Tickets are now available!  Remember, you will have to purchase a football ticket to tailgate, to march onto the field with the class, or to see the game of course.  Click on the "Beat Samford" link below in order to order tickets in our section:

Remember, to quote the Ticket Office: "[You] will need to enter how many adult and student tickets, click find tickets and then enter [your] information to purchase the tickets.  The tickets then can be printed on [your] computer.  Everyone (above the age of 2) going to the terrace for the tailgate will need a ticket to enter the stadium."

The tickets will be located in section B directly beneath the terrace.

Class of 1993 Hotel

We have a block of rooms reserved for the Class of 1993 at the Double Tree Suites which is located at 181 Church Street.  They are offering us a discount rate of $249/night with a minimum 2 night stay.  Rooms are available on a first come-first serve basis.  You can book your room at www.charlestondoubletee.com using the following Code: D93.

Class of 1993 Apparel    

The order for Class of 1993 Apparel has been submitted and we are unable to change (add to or modify) it at this time. 

THIS IS A HARD DEADLINE!  If you do not register by September 15th, 2013 you will not receive a 1993 Jacket or Hat and NO DISCOUNTS will be offered.  

Registration packets for registrations received prior to September 15th will include a 1993 Hat and a  very nice full zip 1993 jacket.  There will also be a surprise give-away in each packet.

Your football tickets are not included in the below price.  You will need to purchase your football tickets separately through the ticket office link, which will be mailed to you (and posted on this site) in late June.

Class of 1993 Homecoming (Friday November 1 2013)

Price includes the class party on Friday November 1 and tailgating at the Football game on Saturday. Ticket price does not include Football Game admission or Hotel reservations.
